A mountain lodge in a secluded location with landscaped garden, covered terrace, barbecue, plunge pool and simply breathtaking panoramic mountain views. Overlooking its own gently sloping gardens and, beyond, the highest mountains of the Central Balkan Range, Balkan View is an ideal place for tranquility, relaxation, fresh clean air and the outdoor life.
Built in two sections around a spacious covered terrace, this cleverly designed mountain lodge offers simple, comfortable accommodation that works equally well as a romantic hideaway for a couple, a quiet spot for families whether seeking access to outdoor sports or just to get away from it all, and as a holiday destination for groups of friends who will enjoy long evenings on the terrace with the barbecue and plunge pool adding to the party mood.
The property has two compact double bedrooms and one twin bedroom which also has a mezzanine floor providing an additional double mattress. Therefore the accommodation sleeps up to 8 people.
The property provides a base for visiting historic towns, cultural and tourist attractions including Apriltsi, Troyan and Troyan Monastery, the craft exhibition centre at Oreshaka and natural history museum at Cherni Osam, the towns of Lovech, Gabrovo and Bulgaria's medieval capital Veliko Tarnovo.
An added attraction is the range of outdoor pursuits and sports available around Apriltsi. The area is particularly favoured by hikers and mountain bikers (mountain bike hire is available from Apriltsi tourist office, likewise detailed information about routes and hiking trails). Other activities available in the area include horse riding, fishing, caving and paragliding. The property owners will be glad to advise you on how to access these.
